DeLegge Medical was formed in 1997 to offer consultative design engineering to physicians, medical personnel and medical device companies. DeLegge Medical has three primary areas of focus: Education, Engineering and Consultation.

Partnering with medical universities and device companies, DeLegge Medical has been a leader in planning and running physician and nursing courses in gastroenterology. They also specialize in developing anatomical models for teaching and for device and procedure development. As design engineers with over 20 years experience, DeLegge Medical assists in patenting GI/surgical devices and can walk customers through the steps of legal provisional writing and manage their prototype design. Over the past decade, DeLegge Medical has licensed over 10 medical device patents in the areas of enteral feeding and clinical nutrition to several major GI/surgical corporations.

DeLegge Medical also serves as expert consultants in the field of gastroenterology, having grown their client list to include Boston Scientific, Olympus, Baxter, EndoChoice and the American Gastroenterological Society.

Recently, DeLegge Medical launched the DeLegge Medical Technology Accelerator, a program designed to assist physicians and other medical professional in the advancement of their intellectual property. Through this program, DeLegge Medical offers prototype development, market analysis and IP patent guidance.
